Butterfly Marketing Manuscript
This may be the best and worst thing I ever got in my life. If that sounds like a total contradiction, it’s not. When you see my reasons for feeling this way, you’ll understand perfectly.
Mike Filsaime’s Butterfly Marketing manuscript is 124 pages long. There is very little filler in it. I will say that there is a lot of psychology as to why Butterfly Marketing works, which I didn’t need to know, but for some people this may prove to be interesting reading. For me, it was stuff I already knew. I just needed to know how the darn thing worked.
The thing I learned most from this book, above anything else in it or any book I ever got before, was about pre-launch. I always thought you simply created your product, got it out there and started promoting. This is SO wrong. The basic concept of Butterfly Marketing is to take advantage of what Mike calls “The Buzz.” This is where you get people to start talking about your product before it even is available for sale. This is how you get the most number of to your web page that first day.
The pre-launch section is one of the most extensive sections in the book and covers just about every way possible to get the word out there even before you have a finished product ready to sell. He goes over how you have to have every little thing in place before your site goes live. Believe me, there are so many things you need to do, it is mind boggling.
After the extensive pre-launch phase, he goes into the actual launch of the product. By this time, on day one, you should have thousands of people flocking to your site. Based on the reports I’ve read from a number of people, this is quite true.
After the launch phase he goes into the post launch phase and how to keep the momentum going, which is very important. He explains in detail how to do this. Most sites, after the initial launch, die a quick death, which is why people have to keep pumping out products all the time. Butterfly Marketing solves this problem in spades.
Okay, here is the major problem I have with this whole book. Without the script to run a Butterfly Marketing site, the information in the book itself is pretty useless. Yes, you need the script. Now, you can get other scripts that do a similar job, but the Butterfly Marketing script is the best of the bunch. I got my Butterfly Marketing copy too late to get the script so I can’t easily use these methods.
I think instead of lowering the price of the book, keep the script with it. That’s my feeling. Because it’s no longer available, I am a little disappointed with this book. But I can’t knock the content, which is excellent.

On a scale of 1 to 10, because the script is no longer available, I give this product an 8. Still worth knowing how to do this stuff if you can pick up a script somewhere.
